megan henebury is an artist from birmingham, uk who mostly makes work about birmingham, uk. she investigates the intersections of industry/nature, capitalism/witchcraft, human/nonhuman via practices of walking, writing, growing, mapping, and pigeon-feeding. current work includes the ongoing development of forward-thinking: a methodology for understanding birmingham's regional identity by wading the course of its principle river, the rea. inevitably her work is also informed by the restrictions and introspections imposed by the global pandemic and uk lockdown. she is preparing to graduate her fine art BA from the birmingham school of art this year. she is also a member of walkspace, a west midlands based collective of artists, writers, psychogeographers, photographers, creative practitioners and walkers.
